What is Stamped Concrete?

    Stamped concrete is 3000 psi strength ready mixed concrete that we have delivered to your site. Once on site, we add integral color of your choice to the truck then have it mixed very throughly before we pour it. Once placed we work the mix just like we would regular concrete to the smooth stage and then a new process starts. Once smooth and set up enough, we then cover the fresh concrete with an accent "release" of the color that you would choose. This adds an accent color and allows our stanping tools not to stick to the fresh mix. We then use our stamping tools to form the pattern of your choice whether it be Arizona Flagstone, Ashlar Slate, Cobblestone, or a wood grain texture we can suit your individual needs.  

    Once the pattern is stamped we then let the concrete dry overnight and then return the following day to wash the concrete with a high pressure washer to remove the excess release. Once the concrete has dried, we will detail the pattern to eliminate any rough spots and then seal the concrete with a high quality sealer to produce either a satin or a high-gloss finish. We even add a non skid additive upon request to make the surface safer during wet weather.
